The BSc Top up Degree provides students with the knowledge and skills to work with children and young people between 0-18 years. This course equips graduates to deliver the roles required in Wales and UK, which cover childhood as a whole, particularly since much attention has been given to the changing lives of young people in the last decade.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Applicants who have completed a Diploma of Technician / Technical Diploma in a relevant subject can be considered for year 1 entry of an undergraduate degree
- Applicants who have followed the IB Diploma curriculum can be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
- Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum can be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be applied
Undergraduate Advanced Entry
Students who have completed a 2 year Diploma or Associate Degree from a recognised institution can be considered for advanced entry onto the 2nd year of an undergraduate degree programme

English Program Requirements
English language requirements
International applicants will need to have achieved an overall of IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component/TOEFL 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing or equivalent.
