    About

    The Clinical Dermatology MSc is an advanced study programme for medical graduates who wish to undertake a period of postgraduate study in dermatology. You will gain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of dermatological diseases and enhance your skills and knowledge of the scientific basis of clinical dermatology. The study pathway also includes a critical evaluation of dermatological literature on a specialist subject.
    • Located within the St John's Institute of Dermatology, a specialised clinical, teaching and research institute located within Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals.
    • The course includes teaching in a diverse range of clinical and Dermatopathology sessions.
    • Internationally renowned clinicians and academics providing an unparalleled inter-professional learning experience in a multi-faculty environment.
    • You will attend weekly and monthly clinical seminars in St Thomas' and Guys hospitals as well as participating in a variety of short courses and conferences.

    Postgraduate taught courses

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    Postgraduate research courses

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.

    English Program Requirements

    To study at King's, it is essential that you can communicate effectively in English and are able to do so in an academic environment. You are usually required to provide certification of your competence in English before starting your studies.
