    Overview The Division of Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling (DCRMHC) of the Department of Allied Health Sciences offers a two-year graduate program leading to the master of science degree.Key facts:Graduates of the program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill will: I want to find another Master Course Practice effectively within a community model using current best practices;Assess the client’s overall rehabilitation needs and preferences and work together with the client to develop and implement appropriate counseling services and support plans;Have specific knowledge and skills to address the counseling and case management needs of individuals with disabilities with emphasis on the needs of persons with psychiatric and developmental disabilities;Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, family members, community members and decision and policy makers;Engage in a process of lifelong learning, collaboration and collegiality;Assume leadership roles in practice and the profession with the necessary leadership, business and management and public policy skills;Empower clients as self advocates.
