    Overview Students receive a solid foundation in the liberals arts and sciences, as well as training in the skills and knowledge required for success in a wide variety of professions. Students are also given a foundation for success in an ethnically and culturally diverse world.Graduates work in a variety of professions including print, broadcast and electronic journalism, public relations, advertising, broadcast production, web editing and design, and multi-media production and presentation. The Communication degree at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga also provides a solid foundation for further study in graduate or professional schools. Graduates have entered the University of Florida, Michigan State University, Ohio State University, University of South Florida, University of Texas, University of Mississippi Law Schools and others.Student Learning OutcomesThe Department of Communication adheres to the 12 values and competencies set forth by our accreditor, ACEJMC.
