    Overview About the Communication Sciences and Disorders programmeAt the undergraduate level, the discipline emphasizes coursework in the normal communication process and the development of an understanding of communication disorders. Advanced levels of education are directed toward learning communication assessment and treatment techniques for a wide variety of disorders, including aphasia, childhood speech disorders, voice loss following laryngectomy, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, language-learning disabilities, and hearing loss. Additionally, opportunities exist for student-faculty research at both the undergraduate level and the graduate level.This is a four-year program in which the first and second years (64 semester hours) may be completed at the University of Oklahoma, Norman campus, or any accredited college or university. The third and fourth years are completed at the Health Sciences Center. I want to find another Bachelor Course Accreditation  The department’s academic programs are fully accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
    Communication Sciences and Disorders programme is offered at the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center offers undergraduate and graduate education in the areas of normal speech and hearing processes and their disorders.

    1Admission to the program requires completion of a minimum of 67 semester hours from an accredited college and/or university and submission of all application materials. The Department Admissions Committee will review application materials and may require additional information from each applicant, such as a personal interview and/or testing scores. Applicants are considered for each fall semester. To be considered for admission to the communication sciences and disorders program, an applicant must complete the following requirements:Be in good standing with the college or university last or currently attending;Have completed all prerequisite courses with grades of C or better prior to beginning the program;
