    Overview The Computer Art and Animation program from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette offers students the opportunity to learn the artistic and the technical application of digital motion graphics. Implemented in 1992, the Department of Visual Arts has the oldest established computer animation program in the state.Key Features Throughout the course of study, students learn concept development along with script writing, story boarding, animating, creating animatic studies, compositing, and video and audio editing. Hands-on computer experience is reinforced as well as historical studies in animation and the examination of contemporary works and theory in the field.Graduates from our computer animation and new media and digital arts concentrations have worked on many films at Pixel Magic in Lafayette, Louisiana including: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One and Part Two, Looper, Men in Black, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader among other numerous projects.
