The Computer Science major at Avila

• Applicants with a bachelor’s or master’s degree GPA of 3.0 or higher will be considered for admission without submitting a GMAT score report
• Applicants with less than a 3.0 GPA will be required to submit a GMAT report with a score of at least 420 prior to full admission
• Business degree applicants holding professional degrees, such as an M.D., D.O., or J.D., are waived from GMAT requirements
• All applications will be considered by the admissions committee

Be Prepared for Your Career

Incoming freshmen are guaranteed access to an internship or research experience before graduation. Avila students have completed hands-on learning experiences at: 

• Sprint/T-Mobile
• Entire Computer Solution
• Grandview (Mo.) School District

Once awarded, this is an ongoing scholarship, paying up to 50% of your graduate business degree tuition per enrolled term. The amount of the award will be based on your merit point ranking. To continue your eligibility, you must carry at least 9 graduate hours per academic year and maintain an overall 3.5 GPA.

In order to apply for the Competitive Merit Scholarships, the following information must be received at least three weeks prior to the beginning of a class term.
