    About

    Computing for Business and Management at Sussex combines a professional education in computing with specialisation in applications from computing to commerce.

    The course covers software development, blended with the study of:

    • business
    • innovation
    • marketing
    • management.

    You'll study in our آ£12-million Future Technologies Labs, which include a student-focused hub, teaching labs with suites of high-spec computers, and project workspaces.

    When you graduate, your skills in leadership, project management and strategy formulation will be excellent preparation for a career in computing and IT.

    We do not expect applicants to have previous programming experience. We encourage applications from anyone who enjoys the challenges of problem-solving and relishes the potential of new technology.

    IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date. You cannot combine scores from more than one sitting of the test. Your score must be valid when you begin your Sussex course. 

    We will also accept the IELTS Indicator Test.

    If you are applying for degree-level study we can consider your IELTS test from any test centre, but if you require a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for an English language or in-person pre-sessional English course (not combined with a degree) the test must be taken at a UKVI-approved IELTS test centre.
