    The aims of the Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing are:

    The Higher National Diploma in Computing (Software Engineer) is an industry recognised Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ), designed to meet the needs of employers. Start a HTQ and upskill alongside work, leading to a career in digital as a Software Developer.

    This Bristol-based course is mapped to Software Developer Occupational Standards and can be studied part time (1 day per week over 4 years) or full time (2 days per week over 2 years).

    UCAS Points - 80 pts new system (BTEC National Diploma, RQF, T Level and A Level equivalent) and Level 2 English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. Applications from those who do not meet these requirements but who have demonstrable and relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
