    Overview Conflict Resolution Studies is a joint program offered through the cooperation of The University of Winnipeg  and Menno Simons College, which is located on the University campus. Conflict Resolution Studies prepares students to understand and interact constructively in response to personal, local, and global conflict situations. Topics include violence, power, justice, peace, communication, and dispute resolution.  The Conflict Resolution Studies program from University of Winnipeg is an interdisciplinary program that allows you to customize your university education to fit your educational and career goals.A Major in Conflict Resolution Studies can be combined with a Major in another area of study such as Psychology, Business, Politics, Religious Studies, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or International Development Studies. Senior students learn to apply academic theory and skills to “real world” situations through the practicum program. Students volunteer in a supervised work placement within the structure of a local, national, or international organization and gain practical work experience related to their program of study. Sample Careers Graduates of Conflict Resolution Studies will find their skills and knowledge valued in many contexts such as Mediation, Counselling, Education and Training, Child and Family Services, Law Enforcement, Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, Business, and Law.

    1American High School Curriculum -  Complete grade 12 with a minimum high school average of C+ or better on a minimum of 5 academic subjects.British Patterned Education - General Certificate of Education, with two subjects at Advanced Level and three at Ordinary Level, or three subjects at Advanced Level and one at the Ordinary Level. Secondary School Grade: C (with no mark below a D)International Baccalaureate – An IB diploma with 3 HL courses and 3 SL courses.  For transfer credit or advanced standing, no grade below 4 accepted.Minimum points required: 24Minimum total score of 24 points Students will still need to meet the English Language Requirements of the university.
