    About

This course is for you if you want tangible academic rewards for some challenging study. The HND in Construction is for you if you wish to develop your higher level skills within the construction and built environment sector and progress to a higher technician and professional level in Building or Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management, Architectural Technology, Building Engineering or Facilities Management. The course is designed as a two year top-up to HNC diploma. Ideally, you should be employed either part- or full-time in a construction-related job, i.e trainee manager, surveyor, engineer etc. Self-employed applicants must be able to prove that you are in regular construction employment. This course is ideal for construction personnel that gained their HNC diploma some years ago and wish to progress further at higher education. It will enable you to gain confidence in studying again and progress towards an honours degree and chartered status. You will be studying on a part-time basis for one full day per week. On this course you will complete six units of study delivered over the year, which, in addition to the ten units studied at HNC will provide the required sixteen units needed for the Level 5 HND in Construction. Success at HND will to enable progression onto our Level 6 BSc (Hons) Degree in Construction Management.
