The Queen’s University Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree programme is recognised and accredited by the United Kingdom’s General Dental Council (GDC) as a registrable qualification. Our curriculum will encourage and support you to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become a dentist across the range of dental disciplines. International applicants should ensure that they thoroughly research the licensing requirements for practising dentistry in their home country after graduation from Queen’s University Belfast. Canadian students should note that as Queen’s University is in the United Kingdom we do not, therefore, participate in the reciprocity agreement which applies only to the Republic of Ireland.
