    Overview In the Design and Technical Production program at The City University of New York you will receive expert coaching in acting, voice, movement, improvisation, and stage combat. You'll have the opportunity to direct, and you will learn stagecraft and design, costume design, lighting design, stage management, performing arts management, and world theater history. Because we are in New York City, with faculty who have access to some of the best theater companies in the world, you'll work with such prestigious organizations as the Manhattan Theatre Club, the New York Shakespeare Festival, Playwrights Horizons, and SoHo Rep.
