About

The program prepares you to apply technical knowledge and skills to work on light and heavy wheeled diesel-powered equipment. Instruction, covering several types of equipment, includes tune-up and overhauling, transmissions and differentials. Diesel technology is a hands-on, high-tech transportation career that is in demand. Diesel technicians repair, service and maintain diesel-powered equipment. You might work on buses, trucks, farm and construction equipment or locomotives. Potential employers include trucking companies, large equipment dealers, and local governments.

Entry Requirements

A high school GPA ≥ 2.25 OR;
ACT composite score ≥ 21.

English Program Requirements

TOEFL iBT score of 72 (18 average of Listening and Speaking, 17 for Reading, and 19 for Writing)

IELTS of 6.0 or above with no section score below 6.0

Duolingo English Test (DET) – Overall Score of 95

PTE of 49 or above with no section score below 40.

SAT of 480 on the Evidence-based Reading/Writing section and an interview (can be online) with IEP Coordinator, International Programs Director, or International Programs Coordinator of Recruitment & Retention

ACT English section score of 22 or above and an interview (can be online) with IEP Coordinator, International Programs Director, or International Programs Coordinator of Recruiting
