Overview We take pride in providing one-on-one guidance through each step of the dietetic internship application process.You will have unique opportunities to advocate for justice and serve with compassion in the nutrition community.In the St. Catherine University Dietetics program, you will grow as a leader who thoughtfully approaches issues of food, nutrition, and health.Career:As a dietetics major, you will receive personalized guidance throughout this as you move through the curriculum. We provide connections and suggestions for volunteering and working.In the course Intercultural and Community Nutrition, you’ll start in the classroom learning about cultural and religious food patterns, then move into the food lab to create foods from around the world.Community Lifespan Nutrition takes you into schools and community organizations to promote healthy nutrition and gain real-world experience.Experimental Foods and Nutrition introduces the use of statistics and allows you to develop an original research project, which may be presented at the annual Minnesota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics conference.These experiences in the dietetics program are a definite plus during the dietetic internship application process or at any job interview.
