    About

Why Digital Forensics & Incident Response at Bay Path University?

Bay Path University's Digital Forensics & Incident Response program is designed to set our graduates up for immediate industry success by combining and leveraging todays cutting-edge technology with real-world scenarios. The degree is the perfect blend of Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and Incident Response courses.

The curriculum focuses on skill areas that include white-collar crime investigation, forensic acquisition, chain-of-custody, evidence handling, network intrusions, mobile forensics, malware/ phishing identification and insider threat. You also will learn how to apply security measures to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of data and learn how to protect the digital assets of an organization.

Cybersecurity employment opportunities are growing at a rate three times faster than information technology jobs overall. In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a 37% surge in demand  is expected between 2012 to 2022, far outpacing the overall job growth rate in the industry. Market research firm Frost & Sullivan predicts there will be 1.8 million unfilled cybersecurity positions by 2022.

At Bay Path University, we know that preparing women for employment in the cybersecurity workforce is a necessity. Our degree programs and partnerships help our women graduates find success in this industry. This, in turn, will help their employers succeed as well.
