This course equips you with high level computing skills to work as a professional in industry. It is a diploma qualification that can also be used as the first two years of a Computing degree, enabling you to progress onto the final year of a BSc (Hons) at university. What can I do next? As the demand for digital skills grows, so do the opportunities and financial rewards. What will I be doing? You will learn skills that equip you for industry, including in coding, software development, web development, app development, data analytics and the internet of things. Your lecturers’ background in computer games design means that many of your units of learning will be presented to you within this context enabling you to develop your skills using stimulating resources. For applicants with a more specific interest in games design, Hertford Regional College also offers a HND Games Design and Animation course at the Ware campus, enabling students to progress instead to a BA (Hons) degree.
