Provides pathway into selected bachelor degrees in health, including Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Public Health.

Studying the Diploma in Health Science (Health Studies) at the QUT College will develop your academic skills, which will help you become more confident with your university studies. This diploma will also improve your academic English language skills, all while enjoying a complete university experience. Successful graduates will be guaranteed entry into one of the approved QUT Faculty of Health programs with up to 1 semester of advanced standing.

You will learn through university style lectures, tutorials and workshops with a focus on the development of independent learning skills.

Through QUT College, you will join a collaborative and close-knit learning community in which you will receive the support you need to succeed. The QUT College community will also offer you valuable opportunities, such as the activities club, which will help you meet new friends and broaden your Australian learning experience. To progress into your chosen QUT Bachelor degree you will need to meet the conditions listed in your offer letter, including:

successful completion of the Diploma of Health Science (Health Studies).

After successful completion of the Diploma of Health Science (Health Studies) you are eligible for the 48 credit points (one semester) of advanced standing towards the following degree programs.

If you are going to progress into the Bachelor of Social Work course, you will need to take one of the approved English language tests in order to meet the English language proficiency requirements.
