    Diploma Preparation Program

    About

Bond University College’s Diploma Preparation Program offers a pathway to undergraduate study, helping you to develop the academic and digital literacy skills that will set you up for success in your chosen higher education diploma program.

The preparation program can be completed in one semester (four months) and transitions directly into your choice of a Diploma of Business, Arts, Legal Studies, Health Sciences, Creative Design or Built Environment.

Starting your tertiary study experience at Bond University College means you’ll benefit from a network of personalised support, with extra face-to-face teaching sessions in small classes where teachers know you by name, additional one-on-one help from student support staff and access to the University’s counselling and medical services, if you need it.

At the same time, you’ll be part of Bond University from day one, with full access to the libraries, computer labs, multimedia learning centre and recreational facilities.

Upon successful completion of your Preparation Program, you’ll transition seamlessly into your guaranteed place in your chosen diploma, which equates to the first two semesters of a bachelor’s degree.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

Bond University accepts undergraduate applications from students based anywhere in the world. Our applicants typically include domestic and international students who have completed Year 12 in Queensland or elsewhere in Australia, or equivalent secondary studies in other countries. You are a domestic student if you are an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen or the holder of an Australian permanent visa. You are an international student whether you are within or outside Australia, and you do not meet the domestic student criteria.

As a general rule, Bond University imposes a minimum age requirement of 17 years and a minimum entry score (expressed as an OP, ATAR, IB or equivalent). Applicants require a minimum entry score equivalent to ATAR 65 or higher (equivalent to OP 15 and IB 24) to be considered for admission into our bachelor programs in Semester 1, 2021. Applicants who are about to complete their final Year 12 assessment will be also considered, based on the predicted OP, ATAR or IB score provided by their school. Applicants who do not meet this minimum entry score will be considered for admission into a Bond University College pathway program. More details on each of these options follow.
