    Doctor of Physiotherapy

    About

Ageing, disease, environmental factors, and occupational and sporting hazards, can all impact our physical function, limiting our ability to participate in life’s activities as we wish. Physiotherapists work with people of all ages to prevent and treat a wide range of health conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions, in order to maximise quality of life.

The Doctor of Physiotherapy –the first three-year master-level professional-entry physiotherapy degree in New South Wales – will develop your skills so that when you graduate you’re able to work with individuals across the lifespan to optimise their physical function. You’ll learn to effectively assess, diagnose and treat individuals with a range of health conditions. You’ll also learn how to encourage people to change their behaviour and self-manage their conditions to maximise their physical health.
