    The purpose of Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Early Childhood Education and Care is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in the early education and care sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. The qualifications aim to widen access to higher education and enhance the career prospects of those who undertake them.     A* to C grades and/or 9 to 4 in English Language and GCSE Maths (or equivalent) are strongly recommended. And You will need a minimum of 48 UCAS points which may be gained from the following qualifications: A* to C grades and/or 9 to 4 in English Language and GCSE Maths (or equivalent) are strongly recommended. Two A Levels One A Level and an AS Level pass in an appropriate subject BTEC National Diploma or Extended Diploma BTEC National Certificate Level 3 Diploma or equivalent such as NVQ, GNVQ, International Baccalaureate, Scottish Certificate of Education A recognised (Kite marked) Access course Other relevant international qualification Alternatively, if you have significant relevant work experience or other professional qualifications, you may be eligible for the course.
