Appropriate professional practice in a teaching and learning environment is desirable, e.g. teaching, training, facilitating, supporting learning, assessing, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or supervising workshops.
• A positive reference from a previous course tutor.
• GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics - if you intend to progress to teaching in Early Childhood or Secondary settings as well as GCSE Science if for Primary/Secondary.
• Those wishing to teach in Post Compulsory Education/Training must have or be working towards a Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English.
