A few examples...Our Amateur Radio club communicates around the world, including periodic contacts with the International Space Station.The Electronic Experimenters' Group provides, at no charge, kits, parts, tools, and faculty help for cadets who are interested in building their own electronic equipment.Finally, we sponsor exciting summer opportunities for cadets to apply their knowledge in research and operational settings at locations throughout the world, normally for four to seven week periods.     Our Electrical Engineering program at United States Military Academy at West Point  is devoted to the idea of design-simulate-build-test. Cadets graduating the program have the necessary skills to see projects through from requirements to working devices that meet real needs for people.

If you meet initial qualification from the CQ, the Admissions Office will send you a link to the Candidate Kit which has the test form and instructions in PDF format. The CFA consists of six events:Basketball throw (from a kneeling position)Cadence pull-ups or flexed-arm hang (women's option)40-yard shuttle run (for time)Abdominal crunches (number completed in 2 minutes)Push-ups (number completed in 2 minutes)1-mile run (for time)
