    About

    This qualification is delivered as part of Lincoln College's involvement in the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology. The Lincolnshire IOT has invested heavily in sector specific equipment and software in order for this course to provide you with high level applied skills relevant to the diverse Sustainable Energy sector. This programme is aimed to develop engineers with a broad understanding of Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering applied to the current and emerging technologies and issues of the Electrical Power / Sustainable Energy sector. In this sector we will include current and emerging technologies such as Electrical, Electronic and Control Technologies, Internet of Things, Networking and Supervisor control. The Sustainable Energy sector will cover Conventional and Sustainable energy sources and energy distribution and usage and explore how these can be best monitored and managed by applying the broader generic technologies studies.

    UCAS Tariff - 80 points
    A minimum of 80 UCAS points from ‘A’-levels, including Maths and Physics or Extend Diploma in an Engineering discipline, including Further Mathematics for Engineers. Other combinations of qualifications will be considered on a case by case basis. NARIC confirmed equivalent of 80 UCAS points

    GCSE/National 4/National 5 - Plus GCSE English Language – Grade A-C or Equivalent and GCSE Maths – Grade A-C

    Tuition fees will remain unchanged for the duration of a student's continuous enrolment. The Career Degree Bursary allows students to access the remainder of the Career Degree Bursary (up to a maximum value of £500 / £250) for additional optional courses, workshops, professional memberships and resources. There is no cash alternative. Students who wish to access opportunities in excess of the Career Degree Bursary may do so at full cost to themselves.
