    About

    Industry 4.0 technologies are changing the way how we think about manufacturing concepts, supply chains and resources. Due to recent developments in robotics, connected systems and augmented reality, businesses and managers need to catch up with new technologies in order to stay ahead of the competition. Our new study programme helps students become experts in smart manufacturing and industry 4.0 technologies. Apart from learning about currents topics such as industrial automation, additive manufacturing and digital twin, students also get to strengthen their communication, negotiation and intercultural skills in the various projects that are incorporated into the curriculum. As part of their interdisciplinary education, Master’s students become acquainted with innovation, product lifecycle and change management and know how to address current issues such as data protection, sustainability or developments in artificial intelligence. Thanks to the focus on both technological and managerial topics, graduates of the programme are sought-after experts who have pioneering knowledge, an important skill set and major career opportunities around the world.

    Entry Requirements

    Admission requirements vary according to the educational background and citizenship of applicants. A Bachelor's degree is required in one of the following: engineering (environmental engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, etc.) (natural) sciences equivalent degree in the same area of studies During their previous studies, students need to have had the following subjects, including the required credits and study workload*: mathematics (algebra, analysis): 24 ECTS = a workload of 720 hours sciences (physics, chemistry): 24 ECTS = a workload of 720 hours computer science or similar: 12 ECTS = a workload of 360 hours *One ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit point is equivalent to a workload of 30 hours of study. Further requirements are as follows: proof of English language proficiency successful participation in our interview
