About Environmental and Sustainability Studies (BA, BCD)

ESST is academically challenging with a focus on interdisciplinary learning that takes a conceptual problem-solving approach to understanding and tackling major sustainability issues in society. Since English is the language of instruction at Acadia University, you must be able to communicate competently in English both orally and in writing. If your first language is not English, you may be required to present your TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL or PTE Academic scores. Acadia's English requirements are as follows:

If you have studied in an English medium of instruction for three years, the language proficiency requirement may be waived.
