If so, the Environmental Sciences program at the Agricultural Campus could be the program for you. Our program teaches students to analyze complex environmental issues and develop practical solutions that consider the impacts on the environment, food security, society, and our economy.
To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
Admission to many Dalhousie programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
*If you don't have the appropriate pre-calculus math class, but are otherwise qualified, you may be admitted on the condition that you complete a Grade 12 pre-calculus equivalent upgrading course before you arrive at Dalhousie.
The Minor in Environmental Sciences (Agriculture) is only available to Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) and Bachelor of Science (Bioveterinary Science) students.

Completing the Environmental Sciences program opens the door to a variety of employment opportunities in a diverse and developing industry. Graduates of this program enter the workforce with a strong scientific orientation and perspective that ensures they’re in demand.

After you complete your master's, you’ll be ready to pursue a PhD and conduct your own research. Graduates of this program are eligible for membership in Agrologists in Canada.
