    How to Apply

    Welcome New Applicants and Students Returning to UNM!

    To apply for admission, begin by selecting the Apply Now button and the Sign-up link at the bottom of the next page to create your username and password.

    An email with your username and a link to create your password will be sent to the email address you provide.

    Important:

    • Please check your “Junk” or “Promotional” email folders if you don’t receive the password email within a few minutes.
    • Please use only a personal email that is specific to you, do not use a family or school email.
    • For optimal experience, please do not use Internet Explorer or Edge browsers.

    If you decide to finish your application at a later time, select Save and Review Application located at the bottom of the application and this will take you to a page where you can select Sign Out. You will be returned to the Online Application Sign-In Page. Then close your browser. To login again, return to your application at apply.unm.edu and sign in using your Username and Password. Finish and submit your application.

    Reset Login ID or PIN

    If you forget your Password, you may request your password by selecting the Forgot Password Link on the Online Application Sign-In Page. Enter your Username and select the Request Password button. You will then go to your Username email inbox to find the email titled – Your New UNM Online Application Password. Select the Join the Pack!, button and then Change Your Password. If you need assistance, contact Admission at 505.277.8900, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time. After hours, or on weekends & holidays, please send an email to [email protected] and we will respond the next business day.
