    1The admissions committee considers each student’s academic record, essay, and recommendations, if applicable. Depending on the Admission Type to which you applied - Early Action or Regular Decision - applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee and decisions announced at the respective notification date.Each accepted applicant should make a $400 confirming deposit to reserve a place in the class and in university housing. This deposit is refundable when requested in writing by May 1 prior to the fall semester of admission. Spring students should inquire about the deposit and refund date.First-year students are required to live on campus their first and second years at St. Thomas unless they are granted an exception to this policy.Transfer students may also have a residency requirement. Residence Life can provide additional information about the policy and the exception process.
