Geographical Sciences

About the course Geographical Sciences is the science of place and space providing an understanding of humans, environments, and the dynamic relationships between them. Geographers study the Earth's climate and landscapes, as well as people and the communities in which they live. Geographical Scientists are in-demand as graduates for their ability to draw answers from complex spatial data using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing Technologies. This major incorporates a wide range of opportunities to develop career relevant skills including GIS, field-based data collection and analysis, as well as professional communication approaches such as policy briefs, consultancy reports and oral presentation.

If you are applying for a combined coursework and research professional psychology program, you will need to apply via the School of Graduate Research.
