Care about balancing economic growth and promoting environmental sustainability? This course might be exactly what you’re looking for. Become part of a university community committed to building a more sustainable future, helping businesses preserve profitability while addressing the global climate crisis.
Modules from the School of Business and Management make up a quarter of our programme – you’ll learn about financial management, marketing, strategy and human resources. Then you’ll spend most of your week in the School of Geography learning about issues defining our present, like international development, geopolitics and the changing nature of work.
Many of our modules contain fieldwork in London, the UK and overseas too. Maybe you’ll head to Spitalfields market to examine urban consumption, study sustainable development in Malta or travel to Boston to meet climate change activists and tech entrepreneurs.
Put your practical skills into action
You’ll be driven to create a positive impact by our expert researchers. Imagine being taught by leaders who’ve had research included in ground-breaking climate change reports and others who’ve featured on BBC Panorama.
We’ll support you as you develop your own versatile skills portfolio. That looks like coaching and mentoring through dedicated careers support, alumni networking, and help with finding projects in local charities and internships in local businesses or start-ups.
Your combination of business know-how and geographical expertise will prepare you for a range of careers in the public and private sectors. From property asset management to responsible investing and banking to risk analysis – where will this course take you?
