Crisis as an opportunity — the 2021 course German+ focuses on the topic of sustainability in various fields of people's lives. The area in and around Lutherstadt Wittenberg offers a variety of resources, such as the federal environmental agency, the “Stadtwerke" (municipal utilities that supply the citizens of this town with renewable energy), a start-up for renewable energy storage, and last but not least, the city of Wittenberg itself, which is a fair-trade city. To help students gain as much important information as possible, the language course includes visits to these sites and lectures, and it will also include input from the international course participants about the situations in their home countries.
