    About

    Global Health intercalated BSc course equips medical students with the knowledge and skills to critically engage with global health issues. Students will benefit from exploring social, political, economic and anthropological perspectives on the main challenges faced in providing healthcare across the globe. Please note the below application deadlines: - 26 January 2022 (King's applicants) - 2 March 2022 (External applicants)
  • The course covers the global burden of disease, health systems and policy, conflict, global health in local practice, international development, and research methods.
  • You will explore current trends and cutting- edge research working alongside international experts at a leading research institution.
  • Designed for medics, veterinarian students and dentists who wish to pursue a career with an international focus, or work in development, policy or humanitarian relief.
  • Opportunities to carry out research projects offering you an in-depth understanding of the realities of health work in low-income countries.
  • Graduates have published their BSc project research, and some have gone on to present their research at conferences.
  • Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Certificate of General Secondary Education will not be considered for direct entry - study our International Foundation Programme instead. Please note: students completing King's International Foundation programme will not be able to progress onto our Dentistry programmes.
