Nurses wishing to specialise in the care of children and young people can study this course to enable them to meet the educational needs required by a range of professional bodies.

The course builds on the skills and knowledge a comprehensive nurse has attained at an undergraduate level.

• Academic Admission requirements (Band 6)

  The following course-specific admission requirements are mandatory and must be satisfied by all applicants. These requirements are in addition to or supersede the minimum requirements outlined within the Academic admission requirements band section below.

  All applicants are required to provide evidence of registration as a nurse in the country in which they practice, and must also submit a current curriculum vitae.

  Academic admission requirements (Band 6) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • Bachelor degree; or
  • Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.
