    About

Be the one who conquers superbugs for good, with Western’s Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology. We believe knowledge doesn’t just come from theory but also by being actively involved in the medical field. It’s why we’re involved in collaborative research with clinicians, policy makers, and community partners. We’re leaders in health research, both nationally and internationally. As a result, our graduates are highly sought after. Core subjects include Epidemiology and Biostatistics, while our range of specialist electives include fascinating areas, like Disease Surveillance, Environmental Epidemiology and Research Protocol Design. Taught out of our Parramatta Campus, you’ll emerge with a solid understanding of epidemiological concepts and methods. Be given the vital skills and knowledge needed to combat disease, improve global health and establish effective public health policy.
