Build upon your health-related bachelor's degree, as you study safety in health care, contemporary issues in ageing, and evidence-based approaches to caring for older people with neurocognitive conditions, chronic progressive disease and end of life issues. You'll graduate knowing how to identify and respond to deterioration and decline in older people, the components of a comprehensive assessment and multidisciplinary care planning.

For admission into one of our postgraduate degrees, you must provide evidence of the successful completion of a relevant degree from a recognised university, in addition to meeting Murdoch’s prescribed English Language requirements. At a minimum, to qualify for one of our postgraduate degrees, you must meet one of the following requirements.

Please note that entry requirements are dependent on the course you wish to study and as such, your specific course may have different entry requirements:

• A qualification equivalent to an AQF Associate Degree
• Bachelors degree of AQF Level 7 in relevant discipline
• Bachelors degree of AQF Level 7 with relevant work experience
• Bachelors degree of AQF Level 7 with specific professional registration
• Postgraduate qualification of AQF Level 8 or above
• Submission of a Portfolio and/or substantial work experience

IELTS: Score: 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.

TOEFL: Score: 79+, with writing 21; speaking 18; reading 13; listening 13.

PEARSON: Score: 64+, with no communicative skill below 60.

CAMBRIDGE: Score: 176+, with no skill less than 169.
