The course allows students to choose from a selection of mathematical and statistical subjects which build in depth of understanding and complexity of their applications. While studying these subjects, the course aims to enhance students’ problem solving skills. Students will be able to analyse a problem, select and use an appropriate method and understand the limitations of the selected method. Mathematical and statistical software packages are integrated into many subjects, thus providing practical skills and experience that students can use in their current or future careers.
