    About

    The Graduate Certificate involves four Core subjects with students covering material on the New Markets, Digital technology, Creativity and Management Capabilities while developing material relevant to the creation of their new business or business innovation. Note: The Graduate Certificate in Start Up Scale Up is being delivered as part of a new "Startup Year" initiative of the Government and available for domestic students.     Entry requirements for international students

    *International students wishing to apply for this program should use course code 2821.

    Admission

    • Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline; Or
    • Successfully completed an Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or higher, in a business discipline; Or
    • Have a minimum of three years full-time equivalent managerial/professional work experience in any field; Or
    • Other evidence of general and professional qualifications and demonstrated potential to pursue graduate studies.

    Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.

    Applicants who have undertaken studies overseas may have to provide proof of proficiency in English.

    Overseas qualifications must be deemed by the Australian Education International - National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR) to be equivalent to Australian qualifications in order to be considered by UAC and Western Sydney University.

    English Program Requirements

    All international students must have a good command of written and spoken English.

    If your first language is English or if you can provide satisfactory evidence that English was the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies (secondary or tertiary studies completed within 2 years at the time of your commencement at Western Sydney University), you may be considered as meeting the requirement of proficiency in English.

    If English is not your first language or was not the medium of instruction in your secondary or tertiary studies, you are required to demonstrate your proficiency in the English language by achieving a prescribed level in an approved English examination or test before you can receive a full offer of a place.
