Develop your nursing skills and expertise as a clinical educator, and facilitator for students, peers and other health professionals, with a focus on diverse healthcare settings.
The Graduate Certificate of Nursing (Clinical Education) focuses on how learner-centred education occurs in a clinical setting. It explores how education can support principles and strategies, the creation of positive learning and teaching environments, networking and reflective development approaches for life-long learning.
You will need access to an educational setting where professional learning practices can be explored and developed.

Entry requirements

Completed a 3-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, in the area of nursing from a recognised university.
Hold a current professional registration as a Division 1 Nurse, or equivalent, with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or relevant regulatory body in applicant's home country.

English language requirements

To meet the English language requirements for this degree, we accept the minimum English language proficiency scores from one of the following tests. Your test must be completed within two years of applying to UniSQ.

IELTS (Academic)	Minimum overall score of 7.0 and a minimum score of 7.0 in each of the four components - listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
Pearson Test of English	Minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills - listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
TOEFL iBT	Minimum total score of 94 and the following minimum score in each section of the test: 24 for listening and reading; 27 for writing; 23 for speaking.

English Program Requirements

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit (advanced standing) towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
