Overview

UniSQ is the only provider of agricultural engineering degrees in Australia and New Zealand, and we have links to world class research with the Centre for Agricultural Engineering.
Study advanced level agricultural engineering and gain the tools to address problems relating to sustainable agricultural production, precision agriculture and the post-harvest handling of agricultural and other primary products.
An ideal option if you have a 3-year engineering degree and want to extend your knowledge in agricultural engineering. No work experience is required to commence your postgraduate studies in this degree.
If you studied your undergraduate degree in a different area of engineering, this degree will allow you to change your career path and specialise in agricultural engineering.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements

Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree in engineering in the relevant specialisation, or equivalent.
or
Australian university four-year Bachelor degree in engineering in a non-related specialisation, or equivalent.

English language requirements

You are required to meet the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 with a minimum 6.0 in each subscore. UniSQ also accepts other English language proficiency tests.

If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can apply to study with our English language partner, the Union Institute of Language (UIL).

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit (advanced standing) towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
