Admission Requirements
At a minimum, all applicants must meet program-specific academic/non-academic requirements, and English language requirements. Admission to most ANU programs is on a competitive basis. Therefore, meeting all admission requirements does not automatically guarantee entry. This program is available to domestic students and/or international students that do not hold a student visa or a visa that imposes study requirement restrictions.
Applicants who do not hold a bachelor degree or an international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4/7 may apply to admission based on
(a) a minimum of 5 years' work experience in a role that has responsibility for organization-level or public, private or NGO sector-wide regulatory system design and/or monitoring and compliance and/or enforcement (an employer statement of service and evidence of the work experience will be required); or
(b) a minimum of 10 years' work experience in one or more roles at ANZSCO Skill Level 1. These roles need not relate directly to regulation and/or governance. Most occupations at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1)
In line with the university's admissions policy and strategic plan, an assessment for admission may include competitively ranking applicants on the basis of specific academic achievement, English language proficiency and diversity factors.
Academic achievement & English language proficiency
The minimum academic requirement for full entry and enrolment is a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4/7.
If required, competitive ranking may further be confirmed on the basis of applicants demonstrating higher-level English language proficiency.
