    Adelaide University’s 100% online Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) will prepare you to use your knowledge and skills in human behaviour in roles spanning industry and research.

    Equivalent to an Honours year of psychology, this qualification focuses on building career-ready skills. You’ll learn how to conduct high-quality research that contributes to this growing field and sets you up for success in further postgraduate studies.

    You’ll be prepared to become a forward-thinking and ethically minded professional. Develop refined interpersonal skills, use best practice in modern interventions, and ensure your skills are applied in a way that is easily understood to different groups.

    Refine your evidence-based practice by developing a critical eye. Review different data sets and research and explore different methods of conducting research. Then put your knowledges and skills into practice by conducting your own research project.

    You’ll graduate ready to work in people-centred roles, step into research or continue towards clinical registration.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    To be eligible for admission, an applicant must have achieved at least one of the following minimum entry requirements and fulfill any essential criteria for admission.

    Option 1:

    • A completed bachelor (AQF level 7) degree or equivalent from an Australian higher education institution with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 or higher, that includes an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) three-year sequence in psychology

    AND

    • A minimum average mark of 65% in Level 2 and Level 3 psychology courses taken as part of that degree

    OR

    Option 2:

    • A completed APAC-accredited Graduate Diploma of Psychology with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 or higher.

    International non-student visa holders

    This program is delivered online. It is open to international students who:

    1. are studying online outside of Australia; or
    2. do not require a student visa to undertake this program in Australia.

    It is not available to international students wishing to study in Australia on a student visa.
