About

History at USD is designed to develop global citizens. Through the study of the past, students can guide and inspire us as we work with others to make positive change in our communities. Students in History at USD are active learners who continually hone their critical thinking, writing, public speaking and research skills. Nationally, our majors score highly on the LSAT (law school), the GMAT (business school) and even the MCAT (medical school).

Entry Requirements

The Franciscan School of Theology is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students. In addition to the application elements already mentioned, international applicants must: Demonstrate their ability to speak, read, and write English by a TOEFL score. FST’s TOEFL number is 5736. (Exception may be made for students who earned their earlier degree at an English-speaking institution.) Supply official English translations of transcripts written in a language other than English. Submit a financial declaration attesting to the availability of funds ($US) sufficient to cover personal and academic expenses for the duration of their study.
