    This honours degree will give you the theoretical knowledge and skills to be able to leave the course in a position to be able to competently undertake successful future employment in a range of professions, or alternatively take part in relevant postgraduate study. these skills. This one-year full-time course can convert the FdSc Psychological Studies, or related course, to a full BA (Hons) level qualification, allowing you to complete your full degree in North Devon. This degree will prepare you for work in careers such as social work, health, education, human resources and probation. The modules that will be taught have been designed to increase knowledge of the key sectors and client groups that you are likely to be working with upon graduation or completion of further training - such as young people, adults suffering from mental and physical health issues and the world of policing and crime. In addition, you will gain the skills needed to work successfully in teams, take on leadership roles, motivate others and learn how to implement conflict resolution.
