Earn Two Degrees and Save Time and Money
The combined bachelor's/master's degree program is designed to provide qualified students the means to complete the requirements for both degrees in a period of five years. Upon completion, a student will earn a B.S. in Information Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems.
A key feature of the program is that a student can count up to 12 hours of graduate-level courses to fulfill requirements for the B.S. and use those same 12 credits toward the M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems.
The program is designed for students in the B.S. program in Information Technology who have:
- Completed a minimum of sixty-seven (67) credit hours in their undergraduate programs. (Note: more hours may be permitted if the student is a double major.) Transfer students must have completed a minimum of two semesters as full-time students at UNCW, a minimum of 24 hours.
- Completed BUS 500 and CSC 500
- A minimum accumulated grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 and a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 on all 100-400 level courses that are core or required within Information Technology at UNCW.
