    About

MSc in Energy Technologies (ENTECH) is a comprehensive Master's programme with over 200 individual courses covering a wide range of energy technologies and related subjects. Courses cover the engineering behind various energy technologies as well as their economic, social, legal, and ecological aspects. In-depth modules are available on topics such as engineering thermodynamics, power-plant technology, energy in buildings, renewable energy, and thermal turbomachines. MSc ENTECH is a modular programme for students who want to design their own study paths. Acquiring innovation and entrepreneurial skills is at the centre of the programme. Also, students gain understanding of product development and turning innovation into market-ready solutions. After having successfully completed the programme and the Master's thesis, students will receive a double degree in the form of a Master’s qualification from two of the following institutions: Master of Science, from KIT: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics and Energetics, from Grenoble INP: Institute of Technology, France Master of Energy Engineering and Management, from IST: Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal Master of Science in Energy Technology, from UU: Uppsala University, Sweden The MSc in Energy Technologies is part of InnoEnergy’s Master’s school. As such, students have access to some of the most relevant players in the energy sector in Europe including multinationals, start-ups, and scale-ups. 80% of InnoEnergy Master’s school graduates land a job in Europe after graduation. Moreover, four of them have been selected as part of the Forbes 30 under 30 list. The combination of sound technical knowledge, personal development, industry exposure, and entrepreneurial skills prepares students to be part of the next generation of energy engineers in Europe. ENTECH is part of the EIT Label, which is a quality seal awarded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) to a KIC educational programme that has been assessed positively by the EIT on the implementation of the EIT Quality Assurance and Learning Enhancement (EIT QALE).
