    About

The growing interdependence of international economies and increased interaction between regional economic systems has led to a remarkable growth in the number of companies and organisations active at the multinational level. Economic and international business specialists who excel in complex multicultural environments are best positioned to take advantage of this market situation. Our International Business and Management undergraduate programme was developed to produce these kind of specialists. The structure of the course follows a logical sequence of economics, politics, law, and social sciences. Special emphasis is placed on international aspects of these disciplines and on the interdisciplinary relationship between economic and business contents and social science considerations. This combined approach imparts the profound analytical skills necessary to understand and analyse business-related matters not just from an economic point of view, but from ethical, moral, and social points of view as well. Business-related content is taught via an application-based approach and analysed within a larger economic context. To supplement your studies and firmly cement your understanding of complex economic relationships, experimental economic research is utilised to examine realistic decision-making situations within a controlled environment. International thinking and interaction is a central theme of the programme. Consequently, we chose English as the language of instruction so that students could learn how to confidently and effectively convey complex information in international business environments.
