The German language course at the level A2 focuses mainly on improving communicative competence based on topics relevant to university life as well as everyday life in Germany. In addition, grammar will be introduced and expanded at this level. The participants learn the most important structures of the German language. A special feature is the project work, which improves local knowledge and language skills with a focus on current topics.
The language course will be supplemented by an extensive and varied activity programme, which consists of working groups in regional and cultural studies that meet in the afternoons as well as activities that take place in the evenings and at weekends. Furthermore, there are two day trips to museums in well-known towns included in the course price – for example, a visit to the "House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany" in Bonn and to the "LWL-Museum for Art and Culture" in Münster.
