    About

    The unique International Management (IM) major integrates business education with global studies, foreign language courses, and international experiences. This interdisciplinary major is highly customizable, allowing you to create a personalized curriculum that combines the areas of study that interest you most.

    As an IM student, you’ll develop global awareness and perspectives that are essential for practicing business in today’s global economy. You’ll acquire a proficiency in a foreign language and develop cultural sensitivities to ensure that your business solutions are not only technical, but take into account the effects that they will have on society and people.

    You will also develop a broad understanding of international business with internationally focused courses in marketing, strategic management, finance, operations management, and more.

    Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects (prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school).

    Bologna-signatory countries

    McGill welcomes qualified applicants from throughout Europe, including from schools in Bologna signatory countries. Applicants will be considered for admission into McGill degree programs of similar duration as those at comparable, research-intensive universities in Europe. Accordingly, qualified applicants to the faculties of Arts, Education, and Management at McGill, with a Bologna-compliant diploma that leads to a three-year undergraduate program in Europe, will be admissible to a three-year program at McGill. Students in Management will be required to complete additional mathematics coursework.
