    The Russian Studies: Literature, History and German-Russian Cultural Contact Master's programme centres on German and Russian literature, culture and history of the modern age – from the eighteenth century up to the present. Students deepen their knowledge of the methodological and theoretical foundations of their subjects and acquire insights into intercultural developments, with systematic consideration of historical and socio-cultural interconnections. This Master's programme combines three semesters in Freiburg (Germany) and one semester in Moscow (Russia). Additionally, Russian professors teach in Freiburg every semester.

    Entry Requirements

    At least three years of study (usually BA level) in the field of Slavonic studies, German studies or history with a focus on philological and/or cultural studies with above-average results
